勒流镇素有广东“五金家电之都”的美称，五金家电业作为本区域经济的发展典范，作为一种发展模式，广为省内外业界所称道。尤其是随着我镇两个文明建设的深入推进，“工业立镇”的方针深入人心，成效显著，五金家电业的发展更是突飞猛进，成绩喜人。
然而，随着全球第五次产业整合高潮的到来，以及中国加入WTO，我镇五金家电行业将面临全球性的竞争，这将会进一步打破本已严重失衡的竞争格局，行业发展的形势越来越严峻。为积极应对形势的变化，企业间的联合与合作——无论是紧密型的，还是松散型的，已成为一种必然，也就是国际潮流。通过这样，可以维护行内的公平竞争，保护整体利益，实现共同发展。
成立佛山市顺德区勒流五金家电商会，其目的在于：促进地方各级政府规范行政，推动市场经济与国际接轨；协同制定市场策略，由单兵作战转向整体作战，提升勒流五金家电业的综合竞争实力，树立整体形象；加强行业自律，创造公平、公正的竞争环境，促使勒流五金家电行业健康有序发展；通过企业联合，加大打假力度，保护勒流镇地区声誉，提高产品质量和售后服务质量，争创名优产品；推动经济社会化、专业化配套发展，促进资源优化配置，优化五金家电产业结构和产品结构，加速科技成果产业化、商品化等等。
商会将为各会员单位积极争取政府政策扶持，搭建信息平台，提供信息服务，推动企业信息化工作；将会促进会员间的交流学习，分享成功经验，提高科技水平和管理水平，实现优势互补、资源互补；还将加强与国际五金家电企业的联系，有组织地参与国际合作，开拓海外市场，为企业招商引资提供支持，为企业国际化人才培育和引进提供服务。

enjoying the name of “The Town of Hardware and Home Appliances”
for a long time, is well known in the industry and has set
up a development model sample in the country. Along with the
rapid progress of “building the two civilizations” and the
widely applying of the policy of “founding the town by developing
industry”, the industries of hardware and home appliances
has made remarkable progress.
With
the coming tide of the fifth global industry integration and
China’s entry into WTO, hardware and home appliances industries
of our town will face with fierce competitions in the international
market, where new competitive factors will emerge, which will
certainly sharpen current competition situation that has been
out of balance. To form a fair competition market, protect
common benefits and achieve mutual development, the unity
and cooperation between enterprises, whether it is close or
incompact, has become an irresistible trend.
Chamber
of Commerce of Hardware and Home Appliances of Leliu, Shunde
aims at: maintaining a standard administration system within
local governments at all levels and promoting market economies
to meet international customs; assisting its members to formulate
market strategies as a united group to increase comprehensive
strength of hardware and home appliances industries of Leliu
and to set up an integrated image; enhancing self-discipline
and creating a fair competition environment to promote a healthy
and ordered development of the industries of hardware and
home appliances of Leliu; striking counterfeit commodities
to protect reputation of the products of the town, improve
quality of products and after-sale services, and to create
more famous and quality products; promoting socialization
and specialization of economic development, optimizing distribution
of resources and the industry structure and product structure
of the industries of hardware and home appliances, and accelerating
industrialization and commercialization of technical results;
and etc.
The
Chamber of Commerce will strive for getting more supports
of the government policies and set up an information platform
to offer information services and promote information process
in its member enterprises; it will promote exchanges between
members to improve technical and management level and realize
mutual complement of advantages and resources; it will also
enhance contacts with international manufacturers of hardware
and home appliances products, take part in international cooperation
systematically, exploit overseas markets, help to contract
investments, and serve for training and introducing international
talents.
It is
our deep belief that with the support of local governments
at all levels and through common efforts of all members, our
chamber of commerce will make contributions to accelerate
development of the industries of hardware and home appliances
of Leliu. We will endeavor our efforts to build up the Chamber
of Commerce of Hardware and Home Appliances of Leliu, Shunde
to be a practical, enterprising, and internationalized chamber
of commerce.
